An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in thoracic surgery plays a pivotal role in the multidisciplinary healthcare team, specializing in the care of patients with conditions affecting the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, and mediastinum. This role is designed for highly skilled and experienced healthcare professionals, such as Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs), who are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care.
