Vascular Surgery – Advanced Practice Provider

Rush Heart & Vascular's downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges. Join a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers. This position is primarily based at Rush's downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday–Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position. Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP). CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Physician Assistant: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program. Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
