Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial psychiatric assessments of new clients
  2. Manage a caseload for ongoing medication needs, including metabolic assessment, appropriate labs/studies and contact with other physicians
  3. Chart documentation as per Agency standards
  4. Prescribe medications within standards of psychiatric care
  5. Participate in joint clinical case review meetings with program and case management staff to coordinate care for clients
  6. Participate in quality improvement process, including chart review for compliance with medical record keeping standards
  7. Collaborate with Medical Director in accordance with Collaboration Agreement
  8. Provide staff training, consultation and support in medication education and recordkeeping
  9. Provide psychiatric emergency intervention and management for program clients
  10. Maintain regular CEUs
  11. Conduct groups as needed
