OPPORTUNITY:
Full-time, hospital employed Urgent Care opportunity that will float to the following locations:
- Portsmouth Family Health Center
- Waverly Family Health Center
- West Union Family Health Center
- Wheelersburg Family Health Center
- Ironton Family Health Center
2-year contract also includes:
- Vacation: 232 hours PTO. Additional 40 hours when producing 75%tile wRVUs
- CME/Books & Journals: 40 hours PTO and up to $5000
- Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes. No matching.
- Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $24,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $31,000 for over age 50. SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
- Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
- Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate
- Health Insurance: provider pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
- Liquidated Damages: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
- Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary
PRACTICE INFO:
- Practice Location
- Portsmouth, Waverly, West Union, Wheelersburg, Ironton
- Office Hours/Work Schedule
- Office Hours: 8:00a-8:00p
- (6 or 7) 12 hour shifts per two week pay period
- Rotating weekends
- Lab, x-ray and pharmacy have same hours of operation as the UC services
- Family practice, CT, MRI and Ultrasound are by scheduled appointments
- 1 nurse per provider
- 1-2 providers scheduled per day
- Equipment
- X-Ray, Rapid Flu, Rapid Strep, Rapid Urine Analysis, IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, EKG
- Procedures
- Suturing, ear irrigation, slit lamp, pelvic exam, cauterization, reset simple dislocation, splinting, wound dressing, catheter changes, foreign body removal, IV’s
- Ability to move at a quick pace and is not overwhelmed by the unknown of what will walk through the door
- Confident in making a quick initial assessment and treatment plan
- Completes charts timely
