Introduction
As an Advanced Processing Lithography Production Engineer, you will directly support ASML's mission to enable the world's most advanced chip manufacturing. You will contribute to the development, stabilization, and continuous improvement of lithography processes used to manufacture precision glass components.
In this role, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative manufacturing environment, partnering with production teams, development groups, and cross‑functional engineering organizations to create safe, stable, and highly reliable processes that meet demanding quality and performance requirements.
Role Overview
The Lithography Production Engineer (PE) owns and drives assigned manufacturing processes, contributing to their stability, capability, and continuous improvement under the guidance of senior engineers. The PE develops and applies technical depth in lithography processes, translating design intent and production requirements into well‑controlled, repeatable operations.
The PE partners closely with production, equipment engineering, safety, quality, and new product development organizations to identify process risks, reduce variation, improve yield, and resolve technical issues. This role builds a strong foundation in understanding and controlling critical process variables, applying data‑driven problem solving, and implementing sustainable improvements.
This is a highly hands‑on role that requires regular, direct engagement with production hardware and a strong presence in cleanroom and manufacturing environments. The PE supports process documentation, equipment qualifications, and process changes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle-from introduction and ramp‑up to sustained production and continuous improvement.
This role is well suited for engineers with demonstrated manufacturing experience seeking to deepen process ownership and drive measurable improvements in a high-performance production environment.
