The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for complex quality issues.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product/process quality.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and inspectability of new products.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process audits, and best practice implementation.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessments and support supplier development activities.
  • Mentor and train junior quality engineers on advanced quality techniques and problem-solving methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSGB, CSSBB) preferred.
  • Strong understanding and application of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other ASQ certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with AI/ML applications in quality control
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
  • Experience with advanced metrology and inspection techniques
