You dial in tooling, verify dimensions with precise gaging, and compare results to blueprints. Throughout the night you keep a sharp eye on quality, perform mid-run adjustments, and solve tricky mechanical issues before they slow the line. You log results accurately, keep your station 5S clean, and spot opportunities to streamline changeovers and boost throughput. Safety, environmental stewardship, and product quality guide every move.

What you'll handle

  • Verify that all produced components meet stringent quality requirements
  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune equipment to resolve moderate to complex issues
  • Interpret drawings/blueprints to set up and check parts
  • Use intermediate to advanced measuring instruments for in-process checks
  • Complete production and quality documentation fully and accurately
  • Maintain a tidy, organized workstation aligned to 5S
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Pitch in with related duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What you bring

  • Confidence working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to tackle complex mechanical problems and implement solutions
  • Solid, comprehensive knowledge of screw-machine operations and processes
  • Ability to interpret work instructions; strong at following written and verbal directions
  • Intermediate math and communication skills
  • Proficient with required gaging tools and techniques

Physical realities of the job
