We are doing great work here and we need great people to join us to continue to improve the lives of local children and their families. We are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate social worker to undertake the role of Advanced Social Worker in our Family Connect service.
Family Connect is the point for all referrals where members of the community and professionals refer children and young people living in Warwickshire where they are worried about their safety and welfare. This is an office-based post, although following induction the potential for some work from home, with no face-to-face work with children and families. There is also the requirement to support Children and Family Advisors.
Now is an exciting time to be part of our team as Warwickshire begins to embed our Families First teams who support children and young people in our County. Our approach is about locality working, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

About the Service and Role:
On 3rd of March 2025, we launched Family Connect, formally Warwickshire's Children and Families Front Door, this change is part of Warwickshire's new approach under Families First, which aims to build on the strengths of families and communities, ensuring the right support is given at the right time. Family Connect is designed to support children as early as possible. When concerns are raised, we will prioritise conversations with professionals and families to provide earlier support and ensure they are directed to the right services in a timely way. Family Connect provides information, advice, and guidance to professionals; we implement a telephone referral process alongside Consultations informed through Coaching Conversations with callers who have concerns for the safety and/or wellbeing of children in the Warwickshire area.
Family Connect brings together Children's Social Care, information and advice and partner agencies into one place to facilitate early, better quality information sharing, analysis and decision-making to safeguard children, young people and families more effectively. We are recruiting for the role of Social Worker in our Family Connect Team covering Warwickshire for a permanent position.
Warwickshire Family Connect is here! Consisting of 2 collocated linked Hubs our ambition is to continue to improve outcomes for children from the very start of their journey. We are looking for 1, full-time, experienced Social Worker to join our team.

Working with multi-agency partners and using restorative practice, you will be part of a social work team ensuring that all children's outcomes are improved and that they are safeguarded effectively.
