Welcome to Lealholm Primary School
Lealholm is a small, welcoming village school where every child is known, valued and nurtured. With two mixed-age classes, we create a strong family feel where children learn, play and celebrate together, and kindness and positive attitudes are at the heart of school life.
Our unique rural setting enriches learning through our Farm Enhancement Offer and River School Curriculum, giving pupils hands-on experiences inspired by local farming and the River Esk.
We are proud to be a Little Wandle Champion School and a Gold Award Healthy School, reflecting our commitment to high-quality education and wellbeing.
Our pupils benefit from a wide range of opportunities to grow, lead and connect. From serving on the school council, being librarians or even animal ambassadors who take care of animals in our livestock hotel, children develop confidence and responsibility. We also work closely with other schools within our Trust, ensuring pupils build friendships and experiences beyond our village-preparing them for a smooth transition to secondary school.
At Lealholm Primary School, we combine the charm and care of a small village school with ambitious opportunities for every child to thrive.
