Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Job Summary:
The PCS Systems/Test Engineer will be responsible for requirements development, verification planning, and test execution for the Payload Control System (PCS), a critical component of the AN/BYG-1 submarine combat system. This role integrates systems engineering and test engineering disciplines: the engineer will author and maintain requirements in IBM DOORS, develop and execute verification events, perform design reviews, and maintain traceability from stakeholder needs through system requirements to test results. The position supports the full systems engineering lifecycle from requirements analysis through formal qualification testing.
