General Purpose and Function:
Stuart Country Day School’s Office of Development has an opening for an eleven-month, 80% full time Advancement Services Coordinator. This position will work closely with the Business Office and Development Office on the financial aspects of fundraising, including inputting and reporting out on donations; managing and tracking pledges; and generating monthly and annual metrics for giving and prospect meetings. The successful candidate must have database management skills, be highly organized, have superb communication skills and the ability to multitask. This position reports to the Director of Development.
Essential Functions:
Process gifts, prepare donation acknowledgements and provide reconciliation reporting
Create pledge agreements and reminders
Prepare mid-month and end-of-month reports
Manage donor database and all tech platforms that integrate with Raiser’s Edge
Create financial reports
Track and report out on prospect meetings
Prepare stewardship letters
Update donor records as needed
Serve as SPA logistical liasion
Support event logistics and event registration
Provide administrative support for the Director of Development
Other Responsibilities:
Assist at events as needed
Assist with marketing/communications when needed
Lead admissions tours on an as-needed basis
Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or two years of relevant experience
Raiser’s Edge working knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and volunteer management systems
Data entry, spreadsheet and financial reporting experience preferred
Highly proficient in Google Suite
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Discretion and confidentiality a must

The hiring range for this position is $40,000 to $47,000 at 80% FTE. Compensation offered will be based upon a candidate's education, years of experience, skill set and internal equity.
