Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Advancement Systems Programmer Analyst (Entry, Intermediate, Expert, Principal, or Master level) serves as a technical subject matter expert supporting the Division of University Advancement's constituent relationship management (CRM) system and related third-party applications. This position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, managing data integrations, developing reports and analytics, and implementing technology solutions that support advancement operations and strategic initiatives. The role collaborates with Advancement staff, Information Technology, and external partners to optimize business processes, ensure data accuracy, and enhance system functionality. Through technical expertise in CRM administration, reporting, and data management, the position supports fundraising, constituent engagement, and university campaign objectives.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with extensive computer usage and frequent interaction with Advancement staff, university stakeholders, and technology partners. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, reviewing technical information, developing reports, and analyzing data. Responsibilities involve managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and responsiveness to operational needs. The position requires sustained analytical thinking, technical problem-solving, and collaboration across functional areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not typically have direct supervisory responsibility. May provide technical leadership, project coordination, training, and guidance to users and stakeholders regarding CRM systems, reporting tools, and related business processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired is necessary.
