An AdvantaFlex Extrusion Operator utilizes their advanced technical extrusion skill set in order to setup and operate extrusion equipment, fulfill daily production requirements, changeover between extrusion jobs, and troubleshoot extrusion related issues.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Sets up, operates, changes over, and shuts down all extrusion equipment within the department correctly, efficiently, and with no oversight from the AdvantaFlex extrusion supervisor.
Uses the production schedule to determine the order in which production jobs are executed.
Uses paper based and electronic systems to track finished goods production, raw material consumption, scrap, and production time.
Troubleshoots and corrects quality related defects in products.
Follows FIFO when using raw materials, records accurate lot information.
Follows Good Documentation Practices
Uses PPE properly, follows all safety procedures.
Follows cleanroom gowning procedures and exhibits good cleanroom behavior.
Supports 5S initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 6 months in an AdvantaFlex Extrusion Operator I role.
Can pass the AdvantaFlex Extrusion Operator II career advancement evaluation.
Satisfactory performance review or higher on most recent review.
