Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum age: 16 years old High School Diploma/GED preferred Successful DCYF background check required Preschool and school age classroom experience preferred Knowledge/skills/abilities needed: General knowledge of childcare practices and techniques, general knowledge of children's developmental and social growth expectations and needs, ability to work with preschool and school age children. Exemplifies the following five character traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. Specific tasks: Support to classroom staff as needed. See the job description for additional information. Hours per day: 6:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., school attendance days. May be combined with other positions, split shifts or shared shifts.
Additional hours available on non school days and summer. As per terms and conditions Employees receive a 40% discount on Adventure Center programming for their own children while working at Adventure Center. May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
