Job Opportunity Our client is a leading North American advertising company with a specialized airport media division. The company partners with airports and public venues to create high-impact advertising programs that connect local, regional, and national brands with travelers in premium, high-traffic environments. This opportunity is tied to a new advertising and sponsorship partnership at a major Midwest international airport, creating a rare chance to help build a market from the ground up with the support of an established national media organization.The Job The Airport Advertising Manager will be responsible for driving local and regional advertising revenue across airport media assets. This person will prospect new advertisers, build a local book of business, present media opportunities, bring prospects on-site for airport tours, develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and close business. This is a true market-building sales role. The airport already has an existing advertising program, but the local market has not been actively sold at the level expected going forward. The right person will bring urgency, creativity, strong local relationships, and the discipline to manage a full pipeline every week. The role will work closely with internal sales, national sales, fulfillment, campaign support, and airport stakeholders. The team will initially work closely together during launch and training, with a long-term hybrid structure expected after ramp-up.The Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience preferred, ideally in local media, out-of-home, airport, transit, mall, radio, TV, digital advertising, sponsorship, or related B2B salesProven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, close, and manage a local book of businessExperience selling to local businesses, agencies, marketing leaders, business owners, tourism organizations, or regional brandsStrong face-to-face presentation skills and comfort leading clients through on-site tours or consultative sales meetingsAbility to manage multiple pipeline stages at once, including prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closed accountsStrong communication skills with both clients and internal teamsCRM discipline and comfort using sales tools, media kits, rate cards, and proposal platformsLocal Minneapolis / Minnesota market knowledge strongly preferredExperience in OOH, airport media, transit media, mall media, radio, TV, or local advertising is highly relevantMust be comfortable in a fast-ramp launch environment with high expectations and significant upsideThe Benefits Base salary of up to approximately $80,000 plus commission.Strong performer building a $3 million+ business could reach approximately $200,000+ in annual earnings over time.The company is also expected to offer a commission bridge or guarantee during the ramp period, depending on the candidate's background and current earnings.Benefits include major holidays, PTO, additional incentive days through sales contests, potential bonus opportunities, and the stability of a well-established national advertising organization.#J-18808-Ljbffr
