We are hiring an Advertising Sales Representative to sell BerksConnect advertising to businesses throughout the county.
\n
\n
What You’ll Do
\n
\n
Prospect and contact local businesses by phone, email, in-person visits, and networking
\n
Work leads from BerksConnect and build your own pipeline
\n
Speak directly with owners and decision-makers
\n
Sell upgraded listings, premium placements, category sponsorships, and homepage advertising
\n
Recommend the right option for each business
\n
Close new accounts and look for the next sale with the same customer
\n
Keep a clean pipeline and stay on top of follow-up
\n
\n
\n
Who We’re Looking For
\n
\n
Comfortable prospecting and starting conversations with local businesses
\n
Able to explain value and ask for the sale
\n
Self-motivated and able to work independently
\n
Strong communication and follow-up
\n
Familiar with Berks County and the local business community
\n
Advertising, media, or B2B sales experience is a plus
\n
\n
\n
Compensation
\n
\n
1099 independent contractor. Commission-based. Structure and earning potential discussed in the interview.
\n
\n
\n
Location
\n
\n
Live in or near Berks County and be able to meet businesses throughout the county.
\n
\n
\n
