Location: 250 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN, United StatesWhat is the opportunity?We are seeking an experienced Advisory Solutions Lead to join our Advisory Programs team at RBC. As an Advisory Solutions Lead, you'll partner with Product Management teams, Legal, Compliance and Risk to drive both strategic initiatives and seamless day-to-day execution across our advisory channels; identifying potential vulnerabilities, guiding stakeholders through complex issues, and ensuring our advisory business operates with integrity and regulatory excellence. This is a high-visibility position where your expertise directly protects the firm.What will you do?Risk Leadership & Escalation ManagementServe as the primary escalation point for all advisory risk issues involving compliance, legal, risk teams, and internal and external stakeholders.Own escalations end-to-end: intake, analysis, resolution, and documentation.Proactively identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Serve as subject matter expert during compliance testing, audits, regulatory reporting, and legal/compliance investigations.Support internal and external audit teams with advisory-specific inquiries.Strategic Advisory ExpertiseParticipate in cross-functional project meetings as the advisory subject matter expert.Provide clear guidance and direction on risk implications and understand where there are legal and regulatory considerations.Platform & Technical OperationsSupport and maintain core RBC technical platforms including RBC Infinity (Pega Workflow), Salesforce, Wealth Management Online (WMO), AdvisoryLink (Envestnet), and Account Opening & Servicing (Docupace); ensure systems meet current advisory platform needs and drive year-over‑year technical enhancements.Identify, prioritize, and advocate for technical enhancements and system improvements.Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams to minimize risk and operational disruption.Stay current on platform capabilities and best practices to optimize advisory operations and user adoption.Disclosure ManagementOwn the quarterly disclosure update cycle for RBC's investment advisory contracts, terms and conditions, and disclosure documents (Form ADV, Part 2A).Facilitate senior executive committee meetings to present disclosure changes, address questions, and secure organizational alignment.Manage and coordinate advisory content updates including policies, procedures, internal and external web pages, and marketing materials.Governance & Committee RepresentationRepresent Advisory Programs on Conflicts of Interest, Disclosure Management, Product Risk Review, and ADV committees.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveBA/BS in business, finance or related fields.5+ years of experience in financial services, investment advisory services, securities, or financial markets.Series 7 license (willingness to obtain)Minimum 5 years' industry experience, preferably in advisory, compliance, or risk functionsProficiencies in advisory products, operation functions, disclosure management and RBC systems.Detail-oriented with high motivation, strong initiative, and ability to prioritize and manage unstructured tasks with minimal guidance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in technical writing.Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.Natural curiosity with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; solid understanding of the wealth management industry.Willingness to rapidly learn new skills and adapt to emerging technologies.What's in it for you?A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicableLeaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunitiesAbility to make a difference and lasting impactWork in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing teamFlexible work/life balance optionsOpportunities to do challenging workOpportunities to take on progressively greater accountabilitiesAccess to a variety of job opportunities across businessThe expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000-$160,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.Job SkillsAdvisory ServicesBusiness OrientedCommunicationDecision MakingLegal DisclosuresOrganizational Change ManagementProduct RiskProgram ManagementProject ImplementationsRegulatory ReportingResource CoordinationResults-OrientedRisk AssessmentsTeam ManagementTechnical KnowledgeTime Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
