Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part-Time positions working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or challenging behaviors are available in the Berks CRP program.

  • Serve as a positive role model for youth by demonstrating dependability, commitment, and professionalism in interactions.
  • Initiate, organize, plan, and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families.
  • Develop and execute service plans based on strengths-based approach using the wraparound model.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with participants to support their development and success across various environments.
  • This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Must be professional, flexible, and have the ability to work independently
  • Must be available evenings and weekends (Flexible, Non-Traditional Hours)
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
