We need an AEM On-Premise Administrator to join our program. This resource would oversee the administration of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 platform, ensuring its high availability, optimal performance, and security. We need someone with a deep understanding of AEM architecture, and experience optimizing AEM environments running on AWS EC2 servers.
Resource Responsibilities:
Help manage and maintain AEM 6.5 environments, including Author and Publish instances, running on AWS EC2 servers.
Monitor system performance and ensure platform availability.
Optimization of workflows, versioning, archiving, queries, indexes.
Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related technical issues, including identifying and resolving configuration and optimization problems in Author and Publish environments.
Collaborate with development and content teams to deploy code.
Optimize AEM configurations for improved performance, focusing on both Author and Publish environments.
Configure and manage Apache web servers and Dispatcher.
Work with the JCR to pull reporting information or script changes.
Participate in the planning and execution of our migration from on-premise AEM to Adobe Cloud, including assessment, strategy, and implementation.
Contribute to the development of migration plans, considering factors such as content migration, code refactoring, and infrastructure adjustments
Identify and implement solutions to optimize the performance of our AEM Author and Publish environments.
Caching Strategies
Versioning and Archiving solution
Address configuration issues that impact AEM performance and stability.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
Successfully contribute to the migration of our AEM environment to Adobe Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to our digital operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AEM 6.5.
Experience optimizing AEM performance in AWS environments.
Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and fixing issues.
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Terraform, and Lambda.
Experience with migrating content from one CMS solution to another, and from lower to higher versions within a given solution.
Experience with planning and executing AEM migrations from on-premise environments to Adobe Cloud (Managed Services or AEM as a Cloud Service)
