Role Overview We are looking for an AEM Developer to build and optimize digital experiences on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service. You will bridge backend development and frontend execution, build robust components, handle content migrations, and manage complex digital assets. You will also play a key role in integrating our AEM platform with enterprise e-commerce systems and our custom asset portal.
Core Responsibilities
DAM & Workflow Automation: Manage and enhance our Asset Portal Studio that lists AEM DAM assets. Configure robust metadata schemas and develop custom AEM workflows to automate asset and content lifecycles.
Component & Frontend Development: Build scalable AEM components and dialogs. Manage AEM Clientlibs and write clean JavaScript and CSS to support frontend behaviors and UI rendering.
Backend & Migrations: Write efficient Java code for custom OSGi services and Sling models. Develop and execute Sling Servlets specifically for ongoing JCR content migrations.
Enterprise Integrations: Implement Product Detail Page (PDP) concepts and facilitate integrations with SAP Hybris for our e-commerce workflows.
Production Debugging: Troubleshoot environment and production issues, which may occasionally involve reviewing and adjusting Apache Dispatcher configurations.
Ecosystem Collaboration: Work alongside marketing and analytics teams, leveraging a basic understanding of Adobe ecosystem tools to support tracking and campaign initiatives.
Backend Engineering: Strong proficiency in Java (experience with Java 11+ required).
Frontend Engineering: Solid understanding of JavaScript and basic CSS.
Adobe Ecosystem: Basic, working knowledge of Adobe Campaign Standard (ACS), Adobe Launch, and Adobe Analytics.
Development Tools: Proficient with Git, Maven, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Preferred / Optional Skills (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Vue.js and Node.js.
Prior experience integrating AEM with SAP Hybris (or similar e-commerce engines).
Hands-on experience configuring Apache Dispatcher for production debugging and issue resolution.
