Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, React, Apache Sling, and Java
Experience in two coding languages or advanced practice in one language
6 years in IT; 4 years in development
Ability to work directly for Artech on W2
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)
Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architecture
Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI tools to support development, testing, or content workflows
Adobe AEM certification(s)
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Agentic AI solutions for automated code reviews
Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)
Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements
Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile), and technologies
Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, architects, etc.
Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes
Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application
Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization
Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces
Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver solutions
