AEO / SEO Content Strategist

IDR is seeking a AEO / SEO Content Strategist to join one of our top gaming clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves analyzing player search behavior and transforming insights to enhance content discoverability within the gaming industry. The company is dedicated to delivering a seamless search experience and authoritative information to its global player community.

Position Overview for the AEO / SEO Content Strategist

• Analyze player search behavior across various discovery surfaces, including search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
• Develop and maintain Search Intelligence repository by documenting validated insights and identifying recurring themes related to player problems.
• Translate search insights into strategic content recommendations to improve player experience and content relevance.
• Create evidence-based content briefs that clearly communicate player issues, search data, hypotheses, and suggested content approaches.
• Collaborate with the content and product teams to shape Riot’s long-term content and SEO strategies, ensuring alignment with player needs and search trends.

Requirements for the AEO / SEO Content Strategist:

• 4+ years of experience in SEO, search strategy, content strategy, or related analytical disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise analyzing large or complex search datasets, including keywords, queries, traffic, and AI-search visibility.
• Strong understanding of search intent, keyword segmentation, and how search behavior reveals unmet needs or user problems.
• Experience translating data insights into strategic content recommendations and hypotheses.
• Working knowledge of modern search ecosystems, including traditional engines, AI-powered search, and answer engines.
