Job OverviewYou will be the Aeronautical Engineer - MRB for the Engineering Team which is responsible for overseeing the timely and economical disposition of non‑conforming parts and hardware, ensuring minimal impact on operations and delivery schedules.ResponsibilitiesRecognize pertinent design factors relating to structural analysis, interchangeability, maintainability, effective use and operation, and other contractual specification requirements.Support aircraft production and provide rapid response in support of worldwide operations.Participate in anomaly investigation, technical solution development, and coordination with multiple support organizations and government customers.Provide awareness regarding errors related to released engineering and manufacturing Build‑to‑Packages.Hands‑on evaluation of non‑conformances on aircraft and components, including climbing, confined‑space work, and handling parts in fast‑paced production/depot environments.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering with 2 years of engineering related experienceExperience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applicationsWilling to work some weekends and off shiftsMust be physically capable of investigating defects and damage on and inside of aircraft which could include climbing, squatting, crawling, or other activitiesDesired Skills:Experience with military aircraft design, assembly, or repairFamiliarity with most types of aircraft materials and fabrication processes such as composites, metals, harness wiring, tubing, ducting, and general engineering principlesExperience with basic structural analysis in solution developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environmentProficient with Microsoft OfficeSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
