We are hiring Aerospace Assembly Technicians (Precision Assembly) to support the precision assembly of rocket engine components onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. Training begins on A Shift for one week before transitioning to your assigned shift.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Assemble rocket engine systems: combustion devices, turbomachinery, valves, avionics• Disassemble hardware for diagnostics and repairs• Conduct hydraulic testing, leak testing (helium/nitrogen), and hydro proof structural testing• Perform detailed inspection to tolerances of 0.0001"• Operate hoists, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools• Follow and create work instructions; maintain cleanliness standards for LOX/GUX compatibility• Collaborate with engineers and support custom tooling design and documentation• Comply with safety protocols and AS9100 quality standards• Participate in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and feedback loops between design and manufacturingQUALIFICATIONS• 4-6 years of direct hands-on mechanical assembly experience (e.g., aviation, automotive, oil & gas, diesel, turbomachinery)• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs• Experience using micrometers, slide calipers, and torque tools• Familiarity with CAD drawings (Windchill/CREO a plus)• Quality-focused; comfortable in regimented, safety-critical environments• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions• Comfortable working around high-pressure systems, liquid/gaseous oxygen, and in a cleanroom-like setting• Technical degree or A&P certification preferredStephanie NarleskyRecruiterComcentric Inc.stephanie.narlesky@comcentric.com
