Aerospace CNC Operations Leader

Own the shift. Shape the standard.

Imagine walking in before dawn (or as the sun sets) and finding everything in its place—material staged, programs queued, people aligned. As our Aerospace CNC Operations Leader, that’s your canvas. You’ll orchestrate first or second shift operations across one or more machining departments, setting the tone for safety, precision, and pace.

Day in the life

• Pre-shift readiness: verify materials and tooling, ensure programs are loaded, assign operators, and align everyone on the day’s priorities.
• Quality stewardship: enforce SOPs and frozen processes, partner with Quality on non-conformances, and drive root cause investigations that stick.
• Production flow: anticipate bottlenecks, participate in daily scheduling, and call overtime when the plan demands it.
• People leadership: coach, train, recognize excellence, and hold fair accountability. Conduct meaningful performance appraisals and build a culture of trust.

What you bring

• 5+ years leading teams in aerospace or defense machining.
• Proven leadership that earns followership, not just compliance; clear written and verbal communication.
• Calm organization under pressure and a problem-solver’s mindset—addressing causes, not symptoms.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, electronic time and labor systems, and shop-floor machinery.
• High school diploma required; technical or business degree is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
