Aerospace CNC Precision Machining Specialist

A day in this role

As your shift starts, you review a GD&T print, load material, dial in your work offsets, and bring a Haas mill or Okuma lathe online. You make a quick tool offset, run a first-article, and verify critical features with precision gauges. Throughout the day you balance throughput with quality—holding tight tolerances, making minor program edits when needed, and documenting in-process checks to keep parts moving and customers flying.

TekPro has partnered with a leading aerospace machine shop to hire experienced CNC professionals who can set up and operate mills or lathes in a production environment.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes for aerospace production
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Maintain tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections
• Adjust tool offsets and make minor program edits as needed
• Meet quality and throughput expectations consistently

Machines you may run

Haas, DMG Mori, Okuma, Doosan, Hurco, Makino, Mori Seiki, Nakamura-Tome, Index, Hwacheon, Gildemeister, Puma, Tsugami, Star CNC, Citizen.

Materials & methods

Work regularly involves aerospace alloys such as aluminum, stainless, titanium, and Inconel, applying strong knowledge of tooling, speeds/feeds, and precision measurement practices.

What you bring

• Hands-on CNC machining experience in milling and/or turning
• Background working with aerospace materials (aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel, etc.)
• Solid command of tooling selection, speeds/feeds, and metrology
• Independence, attention to detail, and consistent quality output

• 1st Shift
• 2nd Shift (shift differential available)
