Step into a world-class, clean aerospace facility where precision is everything and the parts you machine end up in real commercial and defense applications. As an Aerospace CNC Set‑Up Machinist, you’ll arrive to a modern floor (not a job shop) and take ownership of set-ups and production on CNC lathes, mills, and grinders—driving quality from first article to final inspection.
What your day looks like
Own set-ups on CNC lathes, mills, and/or grinders; verify tooling, zeroes, and offsets.
Run parts to blueprint and manufacturing specifications; hold tight tolerances with confidence.
Interpret prints and apply GD&T fundamentals (nice-to-have; we’ll coach if you’re learning).
Perform in-process checks and advanced gauge measurements; document results.
Collaborate with a tight-knit team that values craftsmanship over clock-watching.
What you bring
At least 1 year operating CNC lathes, mills, OR grinders; 4+ years preferred—but we value quality over quantity.
Proven CNC setup experience (required).
Inspection experience and the ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specs.
Backgrounds that translate well: aerospace, medical, tool & die, automotive, and job shops.
