    Job Description

    CNC/Forming Operator
     
    Summary/Objective
    This position ensures the setup, continuous operation and quality of products using specific procedural standards in the CNC processes.
     
    Essential Functions
    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    1. Follow work order instructions
    2. Set up CNC machines and troubleshoot mechanical problems
    3. Ensure proper materials are used
    4. Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and measuring devices
    5. Inspect material to ensure quality specs are met
    6. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
    7. Complete proper paperwork and tracking requirements
    8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
    Required Education and Experience
    1. HS Diploma or GED
    2. Able to use hand tools and measurement devices (micrometer, tape measure)
    3. Possess good math and computer skills
    4. Ability to multitask and adapt to fast paced environment
    5. Prior factory and tow motor experience a plus
    6. 5 axis CNC router experience a plus

    Work Environment
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an open manufacturing environment.
     
    Physical Demands
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    The employee must stand 8-12 hours per day and is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds. 
     
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 hours.  Additional hours may be required according to production demands.  
     
    Supervisory Responsibility
    This position requires no supervisory responsibility.
     
    Travel
    No travel is expected for this position.

    Pay rate:
    $18.00 base rate. Monthly Bonus.
