Our client is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives across advanced manufacturing operations. This individual will play a key role in developing robust manufacturing processes, designing and improving tooling and fixturing solutions, and supporting the production of highly engineered hardware in a regulated, precision-focused environment.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing process development and continuous improvement efforts.
- Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production support equipment.
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program teams to solve production challenges.
- Support production personnel through technical guidance and process training.
- Develop process controls and implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies where appropriate.
- Identify and justify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and capital investments.
- Drive improvements focused on quality, cost reduction, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- Support qualification, testing, and production activities for complex engineered products.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture solutions.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience with MES systems and data-driven process improvement initiatives.
- Background in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
- Experience supporting cleanroom operations, qualification hardware, advanced testing, or high-reliability products is a plus.
