If you said yes, you could be our next Aerospace FAI & DQR Quality Coordinator—reporting to the Director of Quality (Department 513) and helping us deliver right-first-time results for customers.
What you’ll impact
- Inspection & documentation: Capture results precisely, escalate nonconformances, and help drive timely resolutions.
- Problem-solving: Contribute to root-cause analysis and CAPA under Quality leadership.
- Quality system rigor: Uphold procedures and maintain accurate records per ISO 9001/AS9100 practices.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to protect product flow and elevate quality during production.
- Supplier quality: Assist with supplier checks and vendor conformance monitoring.
- Audit readiness: Prepare for internal/external audits and support corrective follow-ups.
- FAI leadership: Perform FAI reviews and approvals; serve as the FAI metric owner and SME.
- Customer interface: Execute DQR activities for customers as needed.
- Flexibility: Take on additional assignments from the Director of Quality.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or associate degree preferred.
- 1–3 years in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing support capacity.
- Comfort with metrology tools: calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Proven ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 is advantageous.
- Detail-driven, accurate, and diligent with documentation.
- Team-oriented communicator eager to learn.
- Basic computer proficiency; Microsoft Office or quality systems exposure preferred.
What to expect
- Work environment: Manufacturing floor with industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally with assistance; manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision inspections.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; occasional overtime/weekends to support production or audits.
- Travel: Occasional visits to suppliers or other company locations.
- PPE: Provided and required per safety protocols.
