Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, aerospace components, and precision manufacturing processes. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining programs used in the production of high-quality aerospace parts while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for aerospace components
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis machines)
- Ensure all programs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100)
- Perform program simulations and test runs to validate accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain documentation for programs, processes, and revisions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming within aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Proficiency with Mastercam software (required)
- Strong understanding of G-code and multi-axis machining
- Experience working with aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, composites, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
