At a glance

  • Type: 3-month contract with intent to convert to direct hire

Your mission

  • Own portions of the assembly, configuration, and testing lifecycle for: UAV platforms, avionics suites, Ground Control Stations (GCS), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Ground Data Terminals (GDT), and associated electronics.
  • Diagnose faults; remove and replace components; validate performance; and log work using approved technical publications and procedures.
  • Execute trim/paint/bodywork to meet cosmetic and durability standards on UAV components.
  • Support engine assembly, testing, ground runs, and break-in operations.
  • Perform modifications and structural/composite repairs as required.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering to meet on-time delivery targets.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions to fabricate and assemble parts correctly the first time.
  • Contribute wherever needed to keep builds moving.

What you need to succeed

  • 6–12 months in aircraft production/manufacturing (composite layup, avionics fabrication/installation, final assembly, or ground support).
  • 6–12 months working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Collaborative, clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred extras

  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication.
  • Proven safety habits, including safe handling of hazardous materials, chemicals, and tools.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and production-related applications.
  • Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
  • Agility in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
