Aerospace Multi‑Axis CNC Machinist (Vertical & Horizontal)
Step into a contract-to-hire role with long-term growth in Kent, WA, where you’ll set up and run multi-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers to produce tight-tolerance aerospace parts. You’ll thrive on precision, safety, and continuous improvement while collaborating with a team that values craftsmanship and quality.
Compensation: $30 – $45/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

A day in this role
You kick off at 6:00 AM reviewing setup sheets and work instructions. By mid-morning, you’re dialing in fixtures and indicators, confirming flatness and alignment, then bringing multi-axis centers online. Throughout the shift, you interpret aerospace blueprints and GD&T, verify dimensions with micrometers and height gauges, and tune feeds, speeds, and tooling to keep parts on spec. When anomalies occur, you troubleshoot, make program edits, and keep machines running smoothly. You support teammates, share best practices, and leave the area clean, safe, and ready for the next run by 2:30 PM.
