Eleven Recruiting is searching for an Aerospace Operations, Vice President to join one of our largest aerospace manufacturing clients.
The Vice President of Operations is a senior executive responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of significant business units, ensuring that manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems deliver on both customer and corporate objectives. This role owns operational performance, productivity, capital priorities, customer service support, and team development while driving measurable improvement in OTD, TAT, quick-turn response, expedite performance, issue resolution, and annual cost savings.
Responsibilities:-
Strategic Leadership Develop, implement, and manage the operational strategy for assigned business units, aligning with overall corporate goals.

Operational Oversight Manage daily operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, procurement, and distribution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement Identify and implement operational best practices, lean initiatives, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

Budget & P&L Management Oversee operational budgets, forecasts, and P&L goals; manage inventory plans and seasonal demand.

Cross Functional Collaboration Work with department heads, senior leadership, and external partners/vendors to resolve operational issues and align on priorities.

Performance Monitoring Track and report on key performance metrics, including production output, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Business Growth Drive initiatives that support revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term operational excellence.
Qualifications:-
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration) preferred.

Strong direct aerospace manufacturing experience.
- 10+ years in people leadership and team building.
Proven track record in high-volume, high-quality aerospace production and complex program delivery.
Skills:-
Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing and operations leadership.

Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills.

Expertise in lean manufacturing, AS9100 quality systems, and supply chain optimization.

ITAR compliance knowledge for defense/aerospace programs.

Ability to lead cross functional teams and drive change initiatives.

Accountability for Production, Facilities Maintenance, Chemical Maintenance, Procurement, Safety, and Labor Relations.

Capital planning and resource allocation for capacity, efficiency, safety, and growth.
Salary: $180,000 - $220,000
