Our client is seeking a second-shift Paint and Finishing Technician to prepare and apply coatings to high-tolerance aerospace components while meeting production, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare parts through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface treatment
- Apply primers, coatings, and finishes according to specifications
- Mix paint and coating materials
- Operate spray equipment and maintain tools
- Inspect completed work for quality and proper coverage
- Move and handle components safely
- Maintain a clean and organized finishing area
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Coordinate with quality, production, and assembly personnel
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive work consistently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods
- Ability to wear respirators and protective clothing
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial, automotive, manufacturing, or aerospace painting experience
Compensation
$20.40-$26.40 per hour, including the 20% shift differential. Base pay is $17.00-$22.00 per hour.
