Our client is seeking a dependable Paint and Finishing Technician to prepare and coat precision aerospace components in accordance with production, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sand, mask, and prepare component surfaces
- Apply primers, coatings, and paint finishes according to specifications
- Mix paints and coatings to required ratios
- Operate and maintain spray-painting equipment
- Inspect finished components for coverage, consistency, and quality
- Handle and move components safely through the finishing process
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Use required personal protective equipment
- Coordinate with production, assembly, and quality teams
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive work accurately
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear a respirator and protective clothing when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial, automotive, manufacturing, or aerospace painting experience
Compensation
$17.00-$22.00 per hour.
