You will begin by learning the priming and painting process in the booth, support painters with thorough part preparation, and ensure accurate work on a fast-paced production line while handling and moving parts throughout your shift.
ResponsibilitiesJoin a long-established, highly stable metal finishing organization that has been operating for decades and is recognized as one of the largest providers of specialized finishing services in the United States. You will work in an environment that embraces lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, offering meaningful opportunities for growth at both local and broader levels. Employees benefit from a culture focused on quality, reliability, and innovation, with clear pathways to expand skills and advance within a modern, well-organized production facility.
Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a spacious, modern plating and finishing facility that serves Aerospace, Defense, Commercial, Recreational, and Electronics industries across North America and Europe. The environment is production-focused and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and lean manufacturing practices. The facility houses a full range of processing services, including mechanical processes such as shot peening, polishing, and abrasive blasting; aluminum processing with multiple anodize chemistries, chemical conversion coating, and hard anodize; electrolytic plating including chrome, titanium cadmium, cadmium, and zinc-nickel; and a variety of coatings and paints such as primers, fuel tank coatings, topcoats, dry lubricants, and intumescent coatings. Non-destructive testing capabilities include fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle, and nital etch, along with additional processes like zinc spray, magnesium processing, and passivation. You will work around industrial equipment, racks, and booths, following appropriate safety procedures and wearing suitable work attire and protective gear as required for a manufacturing and metal finishing environment.
