Step onto our clean, modern aerospace floor and start your day by reviewing prints for a new build. You’ll verify tolerances, choose the right workholding, and set up a multi-axis mill or lathe. After first-article inspection, you’ll dial in offsets, run production, and document measurements with advanced gauges. Before lunch, you might switch to a grinder for a tight-geometry feature. By shift’s end, you’ll hand off a stable process and a clean workstation—knowing the components you made are headed for commercial and defense aircraft.
What you’ll do
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or grinders; Swiss experience welcome
Interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications to plan safe, efficient machining
Perform in-process inspection using gauges and measurement tools; document results
Adjust tooling, feeds/speeds, and offsets to hold tight tolerances
Collaborate with quality and programming on continuous improvement
What you bring
1+ years running CNC lathes, mills, or grinders (4+ preferred—skill over years matters)
Proven CNC setup experience is required
Blueprint reading and manufacturing spec interpretation
Inspection background with gauges and measurement tools
