Aerospace Technical Instructor
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: Up to $32.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, approximately 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, may vary by one hour
Hours: 40 to 43 hours per week
Travel: Up to 25%, approximately one week per month, mileage reimbursed
Per client requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens.
 
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Technical Instructor to provide technical training for a leading aerospace organization. Candidates must have a strong technical background and the ability to effectively teach aerospace courses in one or more of the following specialties:
 
Electrical Instructor
  • Aircraft electrical installation and assembly
  • Functional testing and troubleshooting
  • Electrical crimping and soldering
  • Basic mechanical skills
 
Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor
  • Aircraft assembly and heavy structure drilling
  • Aircraft maintenance
  • Electrical installations, bonding, and grounding
  • Blueprints and production standards
  • Aircraft systems, functional testing, and troubleshooting
 
Aerospace Seal Instructor
  • Aircraft sealant application
  • Cleaning, preparing, and applying sealant to aircraft components
 
Environmental Health and Safety, EHS Instructor
  • Confined Space
  • Lock Out Tag Tryout, LOTTO
  • DOT requirements
  • Fall Protection
 
Qualifications
  • Strong technical background in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, electrical systems, aircraft sealant, or EHS
  • Ability to effectively teach and explain technical aerospace concepts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to stand and teach for extended periods
  • Ability to work 40 to 43 hours per week on 2nd shift
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
 
Previous technical training or instructional experience is preferred. Military veterans with relevant technical experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
