evaluate and certify the skills of aerospace professionals.
We are seeking an
Aerospace Production Certification Assessor to join an Instructor Resource Management team supporting aerospace industry training and evaluation programs. In this role, you will administer hands-on and theoretical skills assessments, evaluate performance against established standards, and ensure grades and attendance records are completed with absolute accuracy.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong aerospace production background who also brings training, leadership, teaching, or team management experience.
Aerospace Skills We Are Looking For
Candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Aircraft electrical systems
- Bonding and grounding
- Sealant application
- Aircraft assembly
- Heavy or light structural assembly
- Drilling and hole preparation
- Fastener installation
- Rivet installation
- Aerospace production standards
- Power and hand tool usage
What You'll Do- Administer complex hands-on and theoretical aerospace skills evaluations
- Assess participant performance according to established courseware and production standards
- Work with multiple clients and evaluation requirements simultaneously
- Enter grades and attendance records with 100% accuracy
- Maintain detailed, organized, and accurate assessment documentation
- Communicate questions, issues, and status updates to management in a timely manner
- Remain current on applicable aerospace and compliance requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within an industrial environment
- Deliver a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the assessment process
What We're Looking For- Relevant aerospace production knowledge in one or more of the identified skill areas
- 1 to 3 years of training, teaching, leadership, or management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to learn and work comfortably within new software systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Flexibility to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift assignments
- Ability to work within a geographic area ranging from Everett to Puyallup, WA
- Must meet U.S. Person status requirements in accordance with client policy
Schedule & Travel
This position is expected to average approximately
32 hours per week, although actual hours may fluctuate depending on client demand. Candidates must have flexibility regarding shifts and work locations.
Local travel may be required, and
preset mileage reimbursement is provided for qualifying travel.
