Job Description
We are seeking an Aerospace Production Certification Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience in aerospace production training and a proven ability to deliver instructor-led courses that achieve certification and skill proficiency outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical instruction across electrical, mechanical, sealant, and EHS course areas for aerospace production teams.
- Facilitate hands-on labs, demonstrations, and assessments aligned to production standards and certification requirements.
- Evaluate learner proficiency, document results, and provide coaching for skill improvement.
- Travel up to 25% to support training at additional sites. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Instructional Tracks (role may cover one or more):
- Electrical Instructor: Aircraft electrical installations and assembly, functional test troubleshooting, crimping, soldering, and basic mechanical skills.
- Mechanical Instructor: Electrical installations, bonding and grounding, aircraft assembly, heavy structure drilling and/or maintenance, blueprints and production standards, functional test, and aircraft systems operations and troubleshooting.
- Sealant Instructor: Aircraft sealant application, including surface preparation, cleaning, and proper seal application to components.
- EHS Instructor: Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall Protection.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills background in aerospace production domains relevant to the assigned track(s).
- Proven ability to instruct and assess technical courses for production teams.
- Familiarity with blueprints, production standards, functional testing, and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to stand and teach for a full day and manage hands-on training environments safely.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior aerospace manufacturing or MRO instruction experience.
- Military technical training background.
Schedule, Location, and Work Conditions:
- Expected 40-43 hours per week. 1st or 2nd shift.
- Everett only as the primary location, with travel up to 25%.
- Professional culture. Business casual dress required for interviews and on-site work.
- Physical requirement: standing to teach all day.
Compliance and Eligibility:
- Per Boeing policy, candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- Drug screen: 8 Panel - Standard Mandatory.
- Background check: First Advantage Basic Package.
- Candidate not to exceed hourly pay rate: $32.00.
