Aerospace Technical Instructor
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: Up to $32.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 40 to 43 hours per week
Travel: Up to 25%, averaging approximately one week per month to a new site
Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for applicable travel
Work Environment: Professional

Are you an experienced aerospace professional ready to share your technical knowledge with others? We are seeking an Aerospace Technical Instructor to support technical training programs for a leading aerospace client in Everett, WA.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong hands-on aerospace technical experience who have the ability to effectively teach, demonstrate, and communicate complex technical concepts.
 
Candidates may specialize in one or more technical disciplines, including aircraft electrical systems, aerospace mechanical and structural assembly, aircraft sealant application, or Environmental Health and Safety, EHS

Military veterans with relevant technical backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical instruction and hands-on training within an aerospace environment
  • Teach technical courses based on your area of expertise
  • Clearly explain technical processes, procedures, and aerospace industry standards
  • Demonstrate proper techniques and support hands-on learning
  • Maintain a professional and engaging classroom environment
  • Stand and actively instruct for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Travel to additional training sites as required
 
Areas of Technical Expertise
Electrical Instructor
Candidates may have experience with:
  • Aircraft electrical installations and assembly
  • Electrical functional testing and troubleshooting
  • Electrical crimping
  • Electrical soldering
  • Basic mechanical skills
 
Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor
Candidates may have experience with:
  • Aircraft electrical installations
  • Bonding and grounding
  • Aircraft assembly
  • Heavy structure drilling
  • Aircraft maintenance
  • Blueprint interpretation
  • Production standards
  • Functional testing
  • Aircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshooting
 
Aerospace Seal Instructor
Candidates may have experience with:
  • Aircraft sealant application
  • Preparing and cleaning aircraft components for sealant application
  • Applying sealants to aircraft components according to required processes and standards
 
Environmental Health and Safety, EHS Instructor
Candidates may have experience with:
  • Confined Space
  • Lock Out Tag Tryout, LOTTO
  • Department of Transportation, DOT, requirements
  • Fall Protection
 
What We're Looking For
  • Strong technical background within the aerospace industry
  • Ability to instruct and communicate technical aerospace content effectively
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the technical disciplines listed above
  • Ability to work approximately 40 to 43 hours per week
  • Ability to work 1st shift, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Ability to stand and teach for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, averaging approximately one week per month
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • U.S. citizenship required per client policy
