Our client, aerospace manufacturing industry is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their team. As an Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting inspection and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to high standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Quality Inspector

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay Range:

Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM - Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform in-process and outbound dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace component parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • Ensure products conform to manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Review and accept inspection paperwork and documentation used in product acceptance.
  • Utilize measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and optical comparators for precise inspections.
  • Generate inspection reports and document findings accurately, supporting quality assurance processes.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical inspection of aerospace products.
  • Experience working in FAA regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of geometrical tolerancing (ASME Y14.5) and acceptance sampling (AQL, ANSI/ASQC Z1.4).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, test reports, and related documentation.
