SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an Aerospace Quality Manager for an aviation manufacturing company in Arlington, TX. The Aerospace Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the company’s quality management system while ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role will oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives for the manufacturing of precision aluminum aviation components.

All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $40.00 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with every other Friday off.
Aerospace Quality Manager Duties and Responsibilities:• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Manage quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process of aluminum aerospace and aviation components.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and engineering requirements.
• Lead internal audits, customer audits, and third-party audits while ensuring corrective actions are completed and sustained.
• Analyze quality metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Production teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, customer, and aerospace industry requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and manufacturing documentation.
• Train and mentor quality inspectors and production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
• Oversee calibration programs for inspection and measurement equipment.
• Support customer quality concerns and drive effective resolution of quality-related issues.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Aerospace Quality Manager Requirements and Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience within aerospace or aviation manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA regulations, and aerospace quality standards.
• Experience managing quality systems for precision-machined aluminum components preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Knowledge of CMM inspection processes, calibration systems, and quality measurement tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and aerospace quality management experience will be considered.Certifications Preferred:• ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE)
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification
