You take ownership of quality systems and don't wait to be told what needs fixingYou enjoy translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable documentationYou're comfortable leading audits and presenting findings to management and external stakeholdersYou're data-driven and can turn quality metrics into meaningful visual insightsYou thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional manufacturing environmentWhat You'll Work On Author, revise, and maintain controlled QMS documentation in compliance with AS9100 Rev D and 14 CFR §21.137Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits; document findings, issue NCRs, and drive corrective action closureBuild and maintain quality KPI dashboards using Power BI, Databricks, or equivalent tools to support Management ReviewConduct gap analyses against AS9100, FAA Part 21, and Part 145 to identify procedural deficiencies and lead closureSupport external audits, customer source inspections, and FAA surveillance activitiesAssist in maintaining compliance with 14 CFR Part 21 PAH requirements under §21.137What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (equivalent experience considered)2 to 5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems within aerospace, aviation, or electronics manufacturingDemonstrated experience developing or maintaining an AS9100 or ISO 9001 compliant QMSHands-on internal audit experience required; lead auditor certification preferredProficiency in root cause analysis methods (5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Is/Is Not)Experience with Power BI, Databricks, or similar data visualization platforms preferredFAA Part 21 (§21.137) production approval environment experience preferred; Part 145 familiarity a plusWhy Engineers Love Working Here Work that directly supports aviation safety and global flight operationsHigh visibility role with meaningful ownership of the QMSExposure to aerospace regulatory frameworks across FAA, AS9100, and customer requirementsOpportunity to modernize quality data infrastructure with real operational impactCareer growth within a company with decades of aerospace credibilityOur Quality Mindset & Core Values InnovationWe advance avionics technology through creative engineering and continuous improvement. You'll work primarily in an office environment within our electronics assembly facility, with some time on the production floor.
