Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Verification Engineer to lead and coordinate a team of 5–10 engineers in performing software verification activities for aerospace systems. The role involves analyzing software requirements, developing and executing test cases, performing code coverage analysis, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with DO-178B/C certification standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with system and software development teams to ensure software quality, traceability, and verification compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 5–10 engineers in executing software verification activities.
  • Analyse software requirements and develop comprehensive test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design, document, and execute detailed software verification test cases on target hardware and software platforms.
  • Define test inputs, expected outputs, test procedures, and coverage analysis.
  • Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects in collaboration with development teams.
  • Perform code coverage analysis to verify adequate test coverage in accordance with DO-178B/C standards.
  • Prepare software verification reports documenting test results, pass/fail status, deviations, and acceptance justifications.
  • Maintain traceability between software requirements, design documents, test cases, and test results.
  • Ensure software verification activities meet applicable aerospace certification and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with system engineering and software development teams to resolve technical issues and achieve verification objectives.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in software verification, software testing, or aerospace software engineering.
  • Experience leading or coordinating a team of 5–10 engineers.
  • Knowledge of code coverage analysis and software verification methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DO-178B/C standards and aerospace software certification processes.
