Mecatos Bakery & Cafe located at 2904 Curry Ford Rd Orlando, Fl 32806 is looking for a line cook to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is hard working, motivated, and very responsible.

Bilingual: English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  
• Cooks' food items by frying or baking, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  
• Weigh and measure ingredients
  
• Organization of freezer and refrigerator
  
• Mix and blend batters
  
• Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
  
• Prepare and maintain inventory
  
• Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
  
• Cook existing items already prepped as they are ordered
  

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all aspects of cooking/baking
  
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
  
• Line Cook Experience *Experience as a Baker/cook a plus
  
• Strong organization and active listening skills
  
• The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time
  
• Exceptional time management skills
  
• Ability to multitask is a must
  
• Ability to work alone
