AFL Provider - Independent Contractor (RL)

We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate. We Need:InReach is looking for an Independent Contractor/Alternative Family Living Provider (AFL) to provide a supportive, culturally normative residential service that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the customer. The AFL Provider must also be able to work effectively with all agencies associated with serving the customer.This is an AFL provider position for an adult female in Waxhaw, NC of Union CountyMust be able to provide Total Care Assist; Must be able to lift and handle a wheelchair;  Must have lower level accommodations What You'll Do:Supervision of individuals needs and ability to respond to daily needsImplementation of PCP and participation in planning meetingsAbility to develop and implement service plansAbility to handle financial responsibility, organization skills, maintain confidential records,Ability to implement leisure, social and recreational activities and facilitate the individual's participation in community life Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license and maintain safe driving recordOne to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferredLocation: Union County, NC Pay Rate: Job Type: Independent Contactor/1099 AFL Providers with InReach are Independent Contractors. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One - two years' experience with the special needs' population preferred.
