Job Description:

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Software Engineer to join a highly talented development team in building modern online simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member developing an online modeling and simulation software platform that enables end users to train and explore new technology concepts virtually anywhere. Our product team works closely with the end users who are tasked to make the right decision under extreme conditions, our software needs to enable effective decision making. This is a significant opportunity to implement a product from the ground up and work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team. As a team member, you will:

• Develop realistic simulation environment emulating real world systems and platforms
• \n
• Develop simulation models for sensors, communications, digital entity movement, AI enabled behaviors, electronic effects, and command and control
• \n
• Design, build, and push a new product to an emerging marketspace
• \n
• Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team
• \n
• Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology
• \n
• Deliver high quality product features exceeding client expectations
• \n

Minimum qualifications:

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• \n
• Strong C++ 17 or later experience
• \n
• Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming
• \n
• Experience with developing sub-system and system level models
• \n
• 2+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team
• \n
• Experience building, testing and deploying software
• \n
• Experience with Git in a team environment
• \n
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements
• \n
• US Citizenship
• \n

Preferred qualifications:

\n

• \n
• DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• \n
• Experience utilizing DoD modeling and simulation environments, NGTS, AFSIM, JSE, etc.
• \n
• Software development experience with C++
• \n
• Experience building and shipping products
• \n
• Hardware integration and embedded system programing
• \n
• Hardware-in-the-loop simulation experience
• \n
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)
• \n
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• \n
