After School Care Provider (Part - Time)

The Erin School District is seeking a dependable and caring After School Care Provider to support the daily operation and supervision of the district's after-school program. The program provides a safe, engaging, and positive environment for students from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day that school is in session.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, builds positive relationships with students and families, and is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise students and ensure a safe, positive, and engaging after-school environment.
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding updates, activities, and student needs.
• Plan and organize age-appropriate activities for students.
• Support positive student behavior and implement appropriate strategies when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming after-school space.
• Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to student needs or incidents.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate student-to-staff ratios and program expectations.
• Collaborate with school staff to support the overall success of the after-school program.
• Perform other duties as assigned
